I worked  for Robin and Shirley Thornton in 1964 at Old Park Hotel. I enjoyed it tremendously, so much so it created a desire to open my own hotel at some point in my life.  This exactly what I did.  I am now 76 yrs old and owned a few hotels over the years alk thanks to working for the Thorntons in 1964.  Merle Barber
